After recently reworking the Air Jordan 2, Don C now puts his mark on the Air Jordan 1 in an effort to help the brand celebrate the 39 anniversary of Black History Month. Adding a number of luxurious touches to the classic silhouette that originally debuted in 1985, the new iteration features a black leather collar and tongue lining, gold aglets and shoelace tips, as well as a removable leather strap. The highly visible areas of the shoe also take on a flocked Black History Month graphic that ties together the sneaker’s aesthetics.
The limited-edition sneaker sees only 39 pairs made, all of which will be available through auction from February 21 to February 28, while all net proceeds from the sneaker will benefit the Ever Higher Fund. In addition to the Air Jordan 1, the shoe is to be sold in tandem with a correlating Just Don Hat. Bid on the super-exclusive product here.
