Well, it finally happened folks. The pseudo-professional basketball team based out of Philadelphia finally won a professional basketball game. Last night, as Kobe Bryant took the court in his hometown for the final time, the Sixers won their first game since March 25, 2015, when they defeated the Denver Nuggets. This win snapped their incredible 28-game losing streak dating back to last season. That’s an astounding eight months since the last time the Philadelphia 76ers had tasted victory.
As you can tell, a lot has happened since the 76ers won a game and it would be impossible to keep up with everything if you live and die with the Sixers and refused to acknowledge the outside world until they won a game. But since there is somebody out there that probably hasn’t done anything significant with their life until the 76ers won a game, this post is especially for you.
Are you okay, Sixers fan? Is there anything I can do for you? Perhaps get you some water and maybe a warm washcloth to clean your face of the dirt from which you’ve buried your head in the last eight months? I’m here to help you and get you acclimated with the world in the eight months since the 76ers last won a game.
Hit the jump and check out everything you need to know to catch you up to speed on life since March 25, 2015.
