ASAP Ferg Drops New Hit-Boy-Produced Song, “Tatted Angel” [STREAM]

ASAP Ferg Tatted Angels produced by Hit-Boy.

Fresh off the release of his Trap Lord collection with adidas Skateboarding, ASAP Ferg is turning his attention back to music. In similar fashion to ASAP Rocky’s “Yamborghini High,” Ferg’s new joint “Tatted Angel” also pays tribute to the late A$AP Yams both on wax and with its cover art.

On “Tatted Angel,” Ferg airs out some of his troubles, waxing poetic about the pitfalls of success, and likening the rap game to wrestling over production by Hit-Boy. Describing the new song, the Harlem emcee explains that the record is intended to be “a few real words to my day 1s to let y’all know what I been going through.”

Listen toA$AP Ferg‘s “Tatted Angel” up top and keep your fingers crossed that he can secure the Kanye West collaboration he raps about on the track.

Ferg fans can catch the rapper live on stages worldwide when he joins G-Eazy on the When It’s Dark Out Tour starting this January.

A born and bred New Yorker, Nate was raised on '90s hip-hop and AND1 streetball mixtapes. In his early college years, he began writing for music blogs and YRB Magazine, while working one of the scummiest jobs known to man, mobile phone sales. He later joined The SOURCE as a Contributing Editor for the print magazine and TheSource.com. He has written for XXL magazine, Complex.com and BET.com, among other media outlets. On occasion, he still loses sleep over Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals. He often copes with the stress of being a lifelong Knicks fan by adding to his sizable sneaker collection or watching a George Carlin stand-up special.
