White House says Donald Trump's Comments Disqualify Him From Race

While we typically don’t cover politics on STASHED, this latest development is too good of a sign for us not to report. Following Donald Trump’s increasingly alarming stance on foreign policy, Muslims and a slew of other hot-button issues, the White House has issued a statement that the presidential candidate is “disqualified” from the race.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest issued the statement to a room full of reporters at a daily press briefing, “What Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president.” Earnest continued, calling Trump’s campaign a “whole carnival barker routine” and that it was up to the Republican party to effectively shut him down. “The question now is about the rest of the Republican Party, and whether or not they’re going to be dragged into the dustbin of history with him,” Earnest added. “Right now the current trajectory is not very good.”

Several Republican figures, including Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, and Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, have condemned Donald Trump’s latest stance, with Bush going as far as calling him “unhinged.”

We’ll have to follow this closely to see how this recent story plays out for the presidential race, but Trump has seemingly put his foot in his mouth for the last time when it comes to his potential candidacy.
