Nike has begun the year with a favor to its fans. After releasing a reincarnation of the Nike Air Max 1 dubbed “The 6” last week, the brand has decided to gift fans of the now sold-out shoe with another release just for them. Announced Monday, the Nike Air Max 1 “Black/White/Smoke” serves as the follow-up for those who couldn’t get their hands on the shoe honoring the city of Toronto, Canada.
The updated version of the silhouette will feature a nearly identical colorway to its original release. Employing a perforated black upper, gray midsole, and white bottom sole, the updated version elects to dismiss the original milky Air Max heel construction and replaces it with a clear gel. A 3M reflective surface also serves as a new feature for the silhouette.
Though no official word has been made available about release dates and price points, you can expect the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire “Black/White/Smoke” to drop sometime in the spring of this year. Read more about the release here.
