The adidas Tubular Doom “Metallic Silver” Features a Few Upgrades [PHOTOS]

In 2015, the name Doom was synonymous with one of the year’s biggest cinematic disasters. This year however, the adidas Tubular Doom, the latest silhouette from The Three Stripes, is shining a positive light on an ominous term.

We got our first look at the adidas Tubular Doom in both a light grey/bone white and all black iteration just a few weeks back. The adidas Tubular Doom’s Y-3-inspired characteristics already provide the Tubular Doom with an upscale aesthetic, but adidas has decided to kick the luxe factor up a notch for a new, monochrome grey iteration.

The latest colorway of the Tubular Doom retains its sleek look with traits like elastic mid-foot straps and a sock that extends above the ankle. This time however, the sneaker’s cage, heel and toe all feature a faux snakeskin pattern highlighted by reflective 3M material. The result is even more reasons to do a double take when catching a glimpse of adidas’ brand new lifestyle model.

The adidas Tubular Doom is now available at Afew, as well as other select adidas Originals retailers around the globe.
