Coachella’s 2016 Lineup Includes ASAP Rocky, Disclosure, and More

Coachella 2016

It’s been over six months since Coachella unveiled the dates to their upcoming music and arts festival. This year, the two-weekend-long event will take place on April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California at the Empire Polo Club. Folks had more than enough time to blindly book their flights in anticipation of the recently unveiled lineup.

The artists listed on Coachella’s bill include Ellie Goulding, Rae Sremmurd, G-Eazy, ASAP Rocky, Ice Cube, Disclosure, Run the Jewels, Grimes, Gary Clark Jr., Calvin Harris, Baauer, and more. While fans get to see stars who’ve been around for some time, they also get to see 2015’s breakout talent flex their vocals. Acts like Alessia Cara and Anderson .Paak had great years, with one releasing a debut album and the other being featured on Dr. Dre’s Compton LP, respectively. Artists featured on the lineup include Robert Bose, Jimenez Lai, Rosario Marquardt, Phillip K Smith III and more.

NME reported that Coachella banned the use of selfie sticks back in March. At the time, Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah gave the reason for this decision, stating that selfie sticks obscured other attendees’ view in the crowd.
