Sasha Banks Thankfully Shoots Down Injury Rumors

If there’s anything that the WWE can use a whole lot less of, it is any more injuries. Rumors ran rampant last night that WWE Diva and STASHED favorite, Sasha Banks, had an undisclosed injury according to the Wrestling Observer. If true, Sasha would have joined John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Sting, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Sin Cara, King Barrett and Nikki Bella as injured stars that threatened the stability of WWE’s upcoming WrestleMania 32 in AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

Thankfully, “The Boss” shot down those rumors on her Tumblr account.

Sasha hasn’t wrestled since the December 28 episode of Raw, when she defeated Becky Lynch. Hopefully if she is a little dinged up it isn’t anything that will keep her out of action for a significant amount of time. It would be a damn shame if Banks’ banner year in 2015 couldn’t culminate in her first WrestleMania moment in whatever capacity the company chooses to use her.

15-time World Champion John Cena’s WrestleMania availability is in jeopardy due to shoulder surgery he went through yesterday, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is scheduled to miss WrestleMania as well as wrestling legend Sting. All of the aforementioned stars figured into the long-term plans of the WWE’s flagship event, and have thrown the company’s plans into a tailspin.
