Hit-Boy Teams Up with Wale on New Joint, “Yadda Yadda” [STREAM]

It’s been weeks since we’ve last heard from Hit-Boy, and from the looks of today’s return, he’s making it a habit to resurface with bangers. His latest release, “Yadda Yadda,” finds him paired with DMV artist Wale who likely knows this popular Seinfeld phrase all too well. But this isn’t that sit-com, and neither artist is here for any games.

Hit-Boy uses his newest offering to air out everything he’s been experiencing over the years. Whether he’s being positive about his favorite pastime or being open about the uncertainty he often encounters, this Grammy Award-winning rapper/producer is taking honesty to a new level. “Yadda Yadda, chitter chatter/ N*ggas talk don’t really matter,” Hit-Boy raps.

Wale’s hook isn’t too far off. Backed by Hit-Boy’s soulful, breezy guitar loop, the MMG artist takes a poetic approach with talks of the undeniable confidence he has in his own skill and bodying the competition. With both artists out to prove their skills, “Yadda Yadda” becomes a powerful collaboration.

If you haven’t heard Wale’s “Legit Boss” freestyle, which STASHED recently premiered, be sure to listen to it now.
