Converse and Hancock Team Up For New Waterproof Jack Purcells [PHOTOS]

Though winter’s raging temper has been relatively quiet on the precipitation front this season, that hasn’t stopped Converse from preparing for the day that it does decide to attack with a vengeance. Teaming up with Hancock Vulcanised Articles, the brand has reimagined the classic Jack Purcell sneaker to include brand-new water-resistant technology. Announced Wednesday, the two brands look to release the collaboration January 15, serving as the fourth time the two have come together.

Optioned in three high-top styles, the shoe features rubberized construction on the heel, tole, and end-sole, aimed at protecting feet from less-than-desirable weather conditions. Available in three tonal colorways – which include autumn, taupe, and black – each shoe features Hancock’s signature gray detailing on the silhouette’s Achilles, while featuring Nike Zoom Air technology in the inner sole for added comfort.

The Converse x Hancock Vulcanised Articles Jack Purcells will be available online at starting January 15, for a suggested retail price of 200 USD. Check out the full collection, up top in the gallery now.
