There was a time—just a few weeks ago—when Adele was inescapable. The UK singer took over headlines across the web as her newly released album, 25, shattered a ton of records. Now, as business booms, it’s only right that she have some fun.
Adele joins James Corden in the latest installment of Carpool Karaoke. If you’ve had a chance to catch past segments with ASAP Rocky, Jennifer Hudson, and Stevie Wonder, then you know just how hilarious this joyride can get. During a ride through the city, Corden gets the opportunity to sing along to classic 19 and 21 songs with Adele. They even performed “Hello,” the lead single off of her latest offering.
The carpool turns up a few notches when Adele gets the chance to revisit her childhood with Spice Girls’ “Wanna Be.” “It was a huge moment in my life when they came out. It was these five ordinary girls who just did so well, and just got out,” she said. Soon, she’s captured rapping Nicki Minaj’s verse on Kanye West’s “Monster.”
Another hot moment comes when she discusses her future plans. Watch the full interview for more on Adele’s drunken nights, drumming skills and more.
