Supreme and Vans Recreate The Classic Authentic Sneaker in This New Collaboration [PHOTOS]

It’s been a busy time for Vans. After releasing quite a few collaborations late last year, the longtime sneaker brand has teamed up with another high-profile brand. Streetwear brand Supreme has reworked Vans’ classic Authentic silhouette and iconic checkered design for their brand-new collaborative sneaker. Hardly a surprise to fans of the two brands – as the two have been frequent friends over the past few years – the collaborative does serve as the first sneaker line for them in the Spring/Summer 2016 season.

Previewed on @bellsupreme’s Instagram account earlier Wednesday, the reiteration features the iconic Authentic silhouette draped in the classic checkered Vans print, similar to earlier designs of the sneaker. The black squares are adorned with Supreme’s famous box logo as the pattern runs throughout the entirety of the shoe before it stops at its solid white bottom sole. Opting for an off-white/black colorway rather than the traditional true white/black combination, the shoe boasts contrasting true white laces, adding a layer of dimension to the sneaker that perfectly rounds out the retro-inspired remake.

No word on when we can expect the Vans x Supreme collaboration to drop as of yet; however, Supreme plans to release their Spring/Summer collection starting in early February. Check out the photos up top in the gallery now and be sure to stay tuned for more details.
