STASHED’s Realistic Look At Who Could Win The 2016 Royal Rumble

Realistic-Royal-Rumble-Predictions-2016

If you’re a wrestling fan, right now is the most wonderful time of the year. The 2016 Royal Rumble is full of intrigue for multiple reasons. A combination of untimely injury, a slew of new signings, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line gives the Rumble something it has not had in a number of years: unpredictability.

For only the second time in the company’s history, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as Roman Reigns will have to outlast 29 other competitors to walk out of the Royal Rumble with the gold. However, after drawing the #1 entry on Monday night the likelihood that he goes the distance and wins a second straight Royal Rumble is starting to seem less likely.

It’s entirely possible that Roman looks strong (heh) and wins yet again, but if he doesn’t, who will take home the gold from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida? That’s where we come in.

We’ve taken a look at the Vegas odds, varied our own wrestling intuition, and came up with this list of the wide-ranging scenarios of where the WWE can take their first stop on the “Road To WrestleMania,” this Sunday. With the WWE betting heavy on filling up the massive AT&T Stadium with 100,000 rabid wrestling fans, it can be argued that this year’s Royal Rumble could be the most important event in its history.

Ranking our competitors from the completely left field to the totally logical, let STASHED give you a realistic look at who could win the 2016 Royal Rumble and eventually headline WrestleMania 32.
