Kanye West Unveils the Official Tracklisting to Upcoming SWISH LP
The road to Kanye West’s SWISH gets more exciting by the day. In a move many were probably awaiting, the Chicago rapper took to social media to unveil the LP’s official tracklisting. “So happy to be finished with the best album of all time,” he tweeted.
The photo West shared shows 10 tracks, all handwritten on a sheet of paper. But what’s missing is the album’s features. He unleashed the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “No More Parties in L.A.” last Monday, and we heard “Fade” featuring Ty Dolla Sign and Post Malone prior to this as well as “Wolves” with Sia and Vic Mensa.
“I feel like it’s going to be like a very good fucking album, man,” Travis Scott said in a recent interview. “This motherf*cker is going all in.” He continued, “[H]e’s just focusing on this album, he really wants this album to be the illest. So I’m just here to support that.”
Ye was recently spotted in the studio with Swizz Beatz. While there’s no word on whether they were working on SWISH, Swizz made sure to hashtag the LP’s title. So far, he’s worked with Madlib on “No More Parties in L.A.,” and Frank Dukes and Boi-1da on “Real Friends.”
Let’s hope they’re all working on the “sonic painting” Ye hinted at weeks ago. Take a look at the tracklisting below.
Slowly but surely, Jhené Aiko has been returning to her rightful spot in music. She’s been delivering loosies since the summer, and has dropped off her latest this weekend titled “B’s & H’s (B*tches & H*es).” Produced by The Fisticuffs, the song is as raw as you’d expect from this California native.
“Did you pick up your kids?” she questions, adding “She watches your kids.” And there’s a lesson behind Aiko’s words that warn, “You gon’ f*ck around and find out.” The song was premiered on Soulection’s Beats 1 radio, and can be listened to below.
Wiz Khalifa Talks Travis Scott and More at Billboard’s Winterfest
Wiz Khalifa is making all the right moves as he heads towards the release date of his upcoming album, Khalifa. The Pittsburgh rapper headlined the second day of Billboard Winterfest at Park City Live, and let off plenty of fan favorites—”Black and Yellow,” “We Dem Boyz,” and “See You Again.”
Just days before this performance, Wiz Khalifa unleashed his Travis Scott-assisted “Bake Sale.” “Travis is a friend of mine and I’ve been wanting to work with him for a really long time,” he told Billboard. “Us being young and having the same energy, some of the same inspirations, and a lot of the same crowd it really just made sense on that end.”
Khalifa is due out on February 5.
