Big K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike Join Nick Grant on “Royalty” Remix [STREAM]

Nick Grant

Nick Grant should be on everyone’s radar by now. His impressive freestyle on Sway in the Morning earned him a ton of attention, and helped him capture the ears of industry heavyweights. With that huge moment circulating the Internet, this Atlanta-based rapper is moving on to a debut project.

Nick Grant’s 88 is due out on February 2. Its rollout began with the release of his CyHi the Prynce-assisted “Royalty.” And now, as the project nears, this buzzing newcomer links with Big K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike, two of hip-hop’s most powerful voices, for the official remix. “Ain’t no other kings in this rap thing, they’re trap queens,” Nick leads in over this Damon Thomas-produced track. After the soulful hook, K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike schools listeners with visual verses about everything from afrocentric culture to maintaining respect.

“It has a lot of gems,” Nick Grant told STASHED about his upcoming tape. “You can never be afraid to say what you feel, and that’s how I felt at the time.” 88 includes guest appearances from Grand Hustle’s Young Dro, Motown signee’s BJ The Chicago Kid, Stacy Barthe, and more.
