J. Cole

The month of January has been huge for J. Cole. Just days after HBO debuted the Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming Concert documentary, the Fayetteville native surprised the world with a brand-new LP. To go along with the performance vibes of the project, he let off a visual for his powerful single,  “Love Yourz.”

The song’s piano-driven production kicks off this Vevo-premiered footage. The crowd cheers build up as documentary-style visuals roll out. The latest taste of “Love Yourz” is another ode to the last year of Cole’s life, and the creative process that surrounds it. This time, fans get a look at J. Cole as he performed the song on his world tour.

“It’s nothing vague about that song,” he told NPR about “Love Yourz.” “While the message is universal and clear and needed and necessary and uplifting because it’s empowering and telling you the secret to life, it’s very clear.”

There’s a chance that J. Cole will be spreading the good word to huge crowds in coming months. It was announced that he would be performing at this year’s Bonnaroo festival. Other performers include  Tyler The Creator, Big Grams, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Post Malone, and more.
