Last year was gold for Wiz Khalifa. The Taylor Gang rapper released his Charlie Puth-assisted single “See You Again” that’s currently nominated in three leading categories—“Song of the Year,” “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,” and “Best Song Written For Visual Media”—for the upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
But even before that ceremony takes place on February 18 on CBS from 8-11:30 PM (ET/PT), Wiz Khalifa is switching gears with a new project. Khalifa dropped today, and features guest appearances from Travis Scott, Courtney Noelle, Juicy J, Ty Dolla Sign, Rico Love, and more.
This project is a treat to fans who have been awaiting the arrival of his eighth studio album, Rolling Papers 2. Wiz first announced the mixtape back in December, stating “I plan on putting out a project with some unreleased music that no one has ever heard before.” “Bake Sale,” the project’s main single, features Travis Scott, and was performed back in November.
Fans can catch Wiz live at international locations through Summer 2016, and according to a press release, a North American headline tour will be unveiled soon. He’ll be performing today at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup: LA / San Bernardino 2016.
