The second collaboration between NikeLab and Riccardo Tisci is almost here and now, we finally have an official look at the latest creation between the two. Givenchy’s creative director and Nike’s experimental department opt for another basketball silhouette, choosing the interesting and daring Dunk High model to showcase their abilities to push the envelope.
Playing with proportions on an extreme level, Tisci and NikeLab adjust the Dunk High’s ankle collar to reach the highest level it’s ever been, giving the shoe a boot-like structure. Elsewhere, an oversized Swoosh dominates the upper, while an upside-down heel tab elaborates the avant-garde design. The new creation is crafted with a premium construction, including details such as a quilted leather collar and tongue, and a Lunarlon insole for added comfort.
The Riccardo Tisci x NikeLab Dunk Lux High is expected to drop February 11 at a suggested retail price of $300. Cop them at select North American NikeLab locations. Check out some shots of the shoes in the gallery below.
