EA Sports has confirmed that Bruce Lee will make his return to the digital octagon in EA Sports UFC 2. News of the iconic martial artist’s addition to the upcoming game’s roster was revealed in a post on the EA Sports website. Lee previously appeared in the first EA Sports UFC title, which released in 2014.
According to the announcement from EA Sports, there are three paths to play as Bruce Lee in the upcoming fighting game. Players who own the original EA Sports UFC game will be able to play as Bruce Lee as soon as they fire up UFC 2. For gamers who are new to the franchise, Lee’s character can be unlocked by beating the game’s career mode. Lastly, EA Access subscribers can add Lee to their roster of fighters by downloading EA Sports UFC from The Vault and logging in to the online servers.
Last month, EA Sports unveiled Mike Tyson as a playable characters in the anticipated game. Famed MMA brawlers Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba have also been confirmed as unlockable characters in the upcoming UFC game. Players who pre-order EA Sports UFC 2 will receive these iconic fighters as a bonus, but they can also be unlocked by beating the game’s career mode.
