Football season is officially over, and while most of us are still coping with the Carolina Panthers’ unfortunate loss, there are still some aspects of last night that we should be thankful for. Believe it or not, getting a 30-second ad during football’s biggest night will easily cost you a cool $5 million, which is why studios have to bring their A game. Last night’s annual preview of this year’s coming attractions provided plenty of extended looks at anticipated blockbusters as well as a few surprises we didn’t see coming.
Unsurprisingly, there were new movie spots for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War and DC’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but we also got our first look at the return of Matt Damon as Jason Bourne in JASON BOURNE. Disney debuted their second full-length trailer for The Jungle Book, filled to the brim with animals voiced by Hollywood’s elite and showcasing a breakout performance by newcomer Neel Sethi. Meanwhile, Paramount teased a monster return in 10 Cloverfield Lane and things got really real in the new X-Men: Apocalypse spot.
For your convenience, we’ve compiled all the movie trailers from last night. Thumb through the list below and let us know which films you’re most looking forward to.
