The Curious Case of Kanye West’s Next Album was penned over a year ago. At the time, there was more than enough reason to believe that a Yeezus follow-up was complete. Ye had already missed a potential June 2014 release date by a long shot, and was fresh off the debut of his emotional, Paul McCartney-assisted “Only One.”
There was also tons of commentary hinting at a completed album such as the story about Kanye West rapping the LP during a car ride with Seth Rogen. Clues and singles (he performed the Sia-and Vic Mensa-assisted single titled “Wolves” at SNL 40) continued to drop like bread crumbs, eventually leading up to Ye’s official comeback at the top of 2015.
Since the moment fans were hit with “Real Friends” and “No More Parties in L.A.” featuring Kendrick Lamar, they’ve been bombarded with tons of information regarding Kanye West’s brand-new LP. Officially titled The Life of Pablo, the highly anticipated album has finally reached the ears of the public.
As promised, T.L.O.P. is currently being premiered at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show. Though “No More Parties in L.A.” didn’t make the cut of the album’s final tracklisting, fans will hear three other previously released songs including “Fade.”
