2 Chainz and Lil Wayne Perform “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” on “The Tonight Show” [VIDEO]

It’s been a few months since 2 Chainz first announced ColleGrove, his collaborative project with Lil Wayne. During an interview on Rap Radar’s Podcast, the Atlanta rapper gave word that their joint effort would “be out, probably sooner than people think.” And although it’s yet to get an official release date, the two rappers performed one of the project’s singles on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night.

“Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” gives off true rock star vibes. Backed by The Roots and Black Violin, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne paints a vivid picture of the fast life and their respective come-ups. “All our hopes and wishes, y’all do more than witness. We do us and love it, we done over did it,” raps Wayne.

2 Chainz unleashed a mixtape back in January titled Felt Like Clappin. While that six-track effort featured the Lil Wayne-assisted song “Back on the Bullshyt,” the two have collaborated in the past on “I Do It,” the highly popular single “Duffle Bag Boy,” and “Rich As F*ck.”

While you await more details on ColleGrove, listen to the project’s lead single below.
