A good laugh is bound to happen whenever Jimmy Kimmel runs “Mean Tweets.” The segment gives viewers a chance to see popular celebrities read off some of their most ruthless Twitter mentions. In the latest edition, the host gathers a group of musicians—Drake, Charlie Wilson, Ed Sheeran, Common, One Direction, Demi Lovato, Little Big Town, and more—to face the noise.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s selection of tweets are often hilarious, and at times offensive. Meghan Trainor kicks off the newest installment with a tweet about her buzzing new career. She’s followed by Ricky Martin, James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson, and more who all find a good laugh at their mean tweet. Things take a turn when Charlie Wilson reads, “Charlie Wilson reminds me of that old creepy uncle you weren’t allowed to be alone with growing up o_0.”
This is Jimmy Kimmel Live!’s third music edition of “Mean Tweets.” Since 2013, the show has featured Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and Drake. The latter two appear in the show’s latest edition.
