After debuting their first collaborative effort for the upcoming spring season a few weeks ago, German-based sportswear brand PUMA and NYC streetwear staple ALIFE have joined forces once again for an all-new spring/summer 2016 capsule collection. The latest collaboration features two running themes this time around, the first being a sportswear range inspired by the two brands’ love for football, while the second part of the line is a tribute to ALIFE’s deep-seated roots in New York.
The newest collection features quite a few pieces that have been resurrected from the PUMA archives and reimagined into street-ready fashion, including a pair of jerseys that prominently display ALIFE’s 158 print – a design that pays homage to ALIFE’s 158 Rivington Street location in the Lower East Side section of Manhattan. All pieces in the collection feature high-performance detailing, including dry-cell technology and a double-knit finish to ensure durability and comfort.
Complementing the apparel is an impressive footwear collection as well. This season features a new iteration of the Blaze of Glory silhouette, which features a combination of neoprene and nubuck leather across its upper, while employing a Trinomic midsole with speckled detailing. Additionally, the classic R698 model have been made available in light and dark color schemes, along with an updated STATES model that employs a glossy snakeskin leather design.
The new spring/summer 2016 PUMA x ALIFE collaboration is now available from select retailers, including END. Clothing and Footpatrol. Take a look at the impressive collection up top in the gallery now.
