Kanye West is already working on a follow-up to his recently released LP, The Life of Pablo. He first announced the album last week, and revealed a potential title this past weekend. Named Turbo Grafx 16, the LP is expected to arrive this summer. And if the rollout of it is anything like that of his current effort, then fans are in for a ride.
The latest update on TG16 is news of a possible collaboration with Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Ibn Jasper shared a photo on Instagram that shows both artists in the studio with Mike Dean and Plain Pat. The caption reads, “TURBO GRAFX 16 day 1.” This should excite plenty of fans. Many have been raving about Kid Cudi’s work on TLOP, specifically on a record titled “Waves.”
Kanye West shared multiple versions of TLOP‘s tracklisting. Tony Williams, a songwriter and a family member of Ye, revealed one of the reasons why some songs were left off of the album. “Some songs were held back for the next project. That’s where my features are,” he told Central Track.
TLOP is flooded with guest appearances. Chance The Rapper, Rihanna, Kelly Price, Young Thug, Desiigner, and The-Dream are just a few of the artists listed on the credits.
