WWE Superstars Read Mean Tweets About Themselves

WWE Network’s latest show, Edge and Christian’s Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness, has been pretty hit or miss. However, an undeniable hit happened last night when the show had WWE superstars read some mean tweets about themselves. Obviously, this is a takeoff of the insanely popular segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but it doesn’t make this any less entertaining.

Is it the most original idea ever? Of course not. Is it still pretty fun to watch? Of course it is. In this segment, superstars like John Cena, The Big Show, Tommy Dreamer (huh?), Dean Ambrose and more read some very mean things about themselves said on social media. Predictably, they keep it pretty tame with the real mean stuff that you’ve probably seen (and said) online, but Tommy Dreamer of all people get the most heat out of all of the wrestlers for being really old and having a huge bald spot in his hair.

If they really want to make this take off, have guys like Roman Reigns read tweets about his promo skills probably involving tater tots. Better yet, have Triple H read tweets about him being the god of shovels and burials. Then, and only then, will you get me truly excited about this show. Check out some clips from the episode in the video below.
