PJ Is Back with More Motivation on “Oh Yeah” ft. Marko Penn [STREAM]

Trap Cover is a huge trend happening on social media. Everyday people are taking successful pop songs for a trap-inspired spin. PJ, a Los Angeles-based singer, is the latest to join the ranks with her new song “Oh Yeah.” She borrows the melody of Coldplay’s “Paradise” for an inspirational cut about her journey towards success.

“‘Oh Yeah’ is just a motivational song that I did with my friends B.Ham and Marko [Penn]. I’m like a big fan of Coldplay, so I just wanted to trap that melody out and do something different with it,” said PJ in a press release.

A lot has happened for the Atlantic records signee since the time of our interview. She released her Walking Around Pools EP, collaborated with Hit-Boy and K Camp, and has begun work on her upcoming EP titled Rare. Before working on her own music, PJ was penning songs for Wiz Khalifa, B.o.B, Lupe Fiasco, and Chris Brown.

Expect Rare to be released before summer!
