You know who is one person you shouldn’t mess with? Marvin Harrison. Why shouldn’t you mess with Marvin Harrison? Well, I’m not going to be the one to explain that to you. Just take our advice. Don’t. Terrell Owens isn’t listening. Owens, who was snubbed by the NFL Hall of Fame this year, has had a reasonable bone to pick by being left out in his first year of eligibility. Owens said part of the issue is that he was splitting votes with the likes of Harrison, but Harrison, who did make it in on his second try, said that’s not his problem.
“I’m not concerned about, you know, T.O. Not one bit. I was concerned about myself. I wasn’t worried about splitting the vote with anyone. That was it,” Harrison said on Talk of Fame Radio.
“The person who was supposed to get in got in. And that was me. If he didn’t get in, that’s his problem. He can talk all that other bullshit like he’s been doing. That’s on him. But I’m in. My jacket is gold. I will look in the rear view for nobody.
“So he can get his ass in whenever he gets in … if he gets in. If he doesn’t get in too bad. The hell with him.”
Well, that settles that.
We’re going to go ahead and assume that Owens is going to let this go now, judging that he’ll eventually get into the Hall. Also, judging from the fact that nobody wants any of those Marvin Harrison problems. Nobody. Matter of fact, this story never happened. We didn’t see anything.
