Things To Excite You: Justin Timberlake and Pharrell In A Studio

Back in 2013, Justin Timberlake made a relatively quick and moderately hyped return to music when he put out The 20/20 Experience. While the album sold extremely well, and included hit singles like “Suit & Tie,” and “Mirrors,” the album was produced predominately by Timbaland. While the two have an undeniable chemistry, one question remind in the minds of Timberlake fans: “Where’s Pharrell?”

After all, it was Pharrell who initially jump-started  Justin Timberlake’s solo music career with his Justified lead single, “Like I Love You” featuring The Clipse, and “Señorita.” Pharrell featured Timberlake on his solo album Girl, but Skateboard P was nowhere to be found throughout Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience.

In what is perhaps a teaser into future music between the two, Timberlake offered little else besides the caption, “Currently…” on the above Instagram photo. Pharrell, however, offered a little more info on his Instagram page. “Here is today’s PSA,” Williams says before turning the lens to Timberlake. “There’ll be [no] Snapchapping, no Instabamming and no Swittering,” the singer joked.

Well, now it’s time to play the waiting game and hope that the two will be back making beautiful music together again.
