Vans Unveils the “Gold” Pack to Honor Their 50th Anniversary [PHOTOS]

Vans, who is currently celebrating their 50th anniversary year, has released an extra-special collection to commemorate their momentous milestone. Appropriately dubbed the “Gold” pack, the new collection features pieces inspired by the company’s “golden year,” including an assortment of updated footwear and apparel. The 22-piece collection employs special-edition variations of a few iconic Vans silhouettes – including the Authentic, Classic Slip-On, Era 59, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi Reissue. The collection also includes a range of hoodies, hats, bags and tees.

The “Gold” pack completes its aim of channeling Vans’ heritage, highlighting their signature designs such as the checkerboard, the Sidestripe, and the vintage Aloha pattern in an updated aesthetic. The checkerboard print can be seen as a perforated pattern atop a newly golden Authentic model, while the Classic Slip-On sees a new multitoned design, and the iconic Sidestripe adorns the side panels of the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue. Elsewhere, an additional colorway of the Authentic model sees a resurrected floral motif print in premium foil, while the Era 59 is outfitted with a hint of gold on its heel. Apparel adorned with modern gold accents the complementing apparel collection as well, with zippers, logos, and paneling all receiving the commemorative treatment.

The Vans 50th Anniversary Gold pack is available now at Vans store locations, online, and at select wholesale accounts. Get a closer look at the collection up top in the gallery now.
