Watch the Visual for ASAP Ferg’s “Let It Bang” ft. ScHoolboy Q [VIDEO]

ASAP Ferg is serving up a different style of tunes on his upcoming album, Always Strive and Prosper. With longtime fans in mind, he’s setting out to deliver some of his most personal work to date. He dropped off the ScHoolboy Q-assisted “Let It Bang” earlier this week. The short snippet features a rhyme about a family member. Now, Ferg’s storytelling gets expanded on in the song’s official visual.

The “Let It Bang” video features Young Dirty Bastard, son of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, playing the role of Ferg’s uncle Psycho. The clips start off as a flashback to the year of 1996, and plays out as listeners hear the Harlem artist nostalgically spit about the old days where 40s and brown paper bags were a thing. The cinematic visual switches gears after a minute, easing into the previously teased version of “Let It Bang.” With their oversized hoodies and faces covered in stockings, ASAP Ferg and ScHoolboy Q let their energy ring off during their verses.

New Level” featuring Future is already making rounds around the web. Other guests expected to appear on the album include Missy Elliott, HAIM, and more.
